San Francisco Adventure Race
The San Francisco Adventure Race is a 24-hour expedition-style race that takes teams of 1–4 across Marin’s most iconic landscapes — from the rugged coastlines of the Headlands to the forests of Mount Tam and the sparkling waters of the Bay.

About the race:
Produced by Gold Rush Adventure Racing, California’s longest-running AR nonprofit, in partnership with Outdoor Goyo, creators of meaningful outdoor experiences that combine play, connection, and adventure.
The race is a USARA-sanctioned event and follows national standards for safety, fairness, and environmental responsibility.
Teams will:
- Mountain Bike the legendary birthplace of MTB
- Trek through redwoods, coastlines and ridge trails
- Orienteer with map and compass — no GPS
- Climb & Rappel short technical sections under supervision
- Paddle the Bay with iconic views of the city and Golden Gate Bridge
