How to Throw a Hatchet

A hatchet can cut wood, protect you, or can be a fun game. You can even challenge your friends to see who can land the most throws or who can get farthest away from the target.

As I say in the video, one rotation is about four paces from the target. That also means you can add rotations at 8, 12, 16... paces.

I know in this video I’m throwing against a live tree. This was done once to get a good shot in the sun. If you’re going to be practicing for a few throws or more, please find a dead tree or stump so we’re not hurting our rooted friends. Have fun and be SAFE!
