The 2023 SKMC (Southern Kettle Moraine Challenge) offers both a 9-hour and 4.5-hour adventure race on Oct. 14th, 2023. The race includes three navigation maps and approximately 35 miles of scenic road biking and 7 miles of single track mountain biking for the 9-hour race, while the 4.5-hour race features two navigation maps and about 25 miles of road biking with no mountain biking or paddling. Racers can choose their own bike, with most opting for a mountain bike with faster tires.
