O’Leno State is a 6,000-acre park that will transport you back in time with its picturesque landscape dotted with moss-draped oaks, towering bald cypress, and palmetto thickets. This race will take you deep into the wild by sunset, where you'll hear the stealthy flight of owls overhead and catch the reflection off a pair of eyes as the night animals come out to play. Are you brave enough to venture into the unknown and discover what lies ahead?

The park's position above a series of limestone caverns means there's even a spot where the entire Santa Fe river plunges underground, adding to the excitement of your adventure. You'll also encounter checkpoint challenges hidden throughout the park, testing your skills and endurance.

Your race starts at 3 pm, allowing you to experience the changing landscapes in the daylight and the darkness of the night. You might catch a glimpse of the park's wildlife, including bobcats, whitetail deer, and even an alligator. Pack your mandatory gear, and be ready for the race of your life!
