If you're looking for a challenging adventure race, then the Pocket Gopher Extreme 18 is not to be missed. This 18-hour race in southern Minnesota is designed for advanced adventure racers, with a course that includes biking through scenic areas, MTB on challenging single track trails, paddling on rarely-paddled lakes and rivers, and navigating through some of the most challenging terrain in the state. While the race is open to any team that wants to try, it's not recommended for first-time racers.

For those who want a shorter but still challenging race, the 12-hour Pocket Gopher Extreme is a great option, open to intermediate teams and even new teams with experience in other endurance sports.

Both races welcome teams of 2, 3, or 4 and soloists, and the 18-hour race is limited to 75 racers, so be sure to sign up soon.
