The Ruta Madre Adventure Race celebrates its sixth edition in 2023 with a stellar distance of 500 km, in addition to distances of 30, 60, 100, and 200 km. After five years of success, it is a pride to once again present the toughest race in Mexico: The Ruta Madre Adventure Race. And this time we have exciting news... This year, La Ruta Madre will be part of the Adventure Racing World Series (ARWS) as a demonstration race, and starting in 2024, it will become a qualifying race! Our goal has always been and continues to be to promote ecotourism through mountain sports in Nuevo León and Mexico, explore the challenges that nature offers us, and experience endless emotions with you. An adventure race consists of overcoming different challenges presented by nature, as a team, and through various mountain sports to reach the finish line. The spirit of teamwork is essential to successfully complete this race.
