Expedición Guaraní is a 400km adventure race that takes place in Paraguay, through some of the most beautiful places in the country. Participants will navigate winding rivers, climb some of the country's most imposing hills, bike on sandy and muddy roads, and do ropes activities on rock walls and water jumps, all in a lush vegetation environment, the last vestige of the Atlantic Forest, which extended from Brazil, passing through Paraguay, and reaching Argentina. EG 2023 will offer several courses of different difficulty levels. The Expedition and Adventure categories will be part of the ARWS, and mixed teams of 4 participants can score in the world ranking. Non-mixed teams are also welcome in Expedición Guaraní, although they won't be included in the official race classification or ARWS ranking. At Expedición Guaraní, good cartography is considered essential, and they will provide accurate maps with all the necessary information for teams to rely on them.
